Deborah M. Taylor, 68, of New Hope, AL, passed away on 1/22/2021 in Huntsville.
Due to current state of this pandemic the family has chosen not to have a celebration of life until all family and friends can attend.
Debbie was born to Sadie and Charles Kidd on October 7, 1952. She worked 30 years as a Logistics Management Specialist for the US Army at the Rock Island Arsenal, IL, TACOM Detroit, MI and then transferred to Red Stone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama—where she retired in 2012. She met the love of her life, Jay Taylor, when she moved to Huntsville and they were married May 21, 2010. Debbie was an avid motorcycle rider and over the years has been a part of various organizations including ABATE, Patriot Riders, BACA and Motor Maids. You would see Debbie (Nuggett) taking trips on her motorcycle to visit her kids and grandkids all across the country while also attending Motor Maid conventions in the US and Canada. She believed in living life to its fullest and enjoying the ride. Debbie was also a master seamstress and could sew on patches or make you a wedding dress. Honestly there was not much Debbie could not do.
The family of Deborah Taylor asks for no flowers, but would rather like to express our sincere gratitude to the nurses and Doctors of Huntsville Hospital and to all the prayer warriors who continued to pray and root for Debbie daily.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband Jay Taylor; her children Tina Johns, Lorelei McMahon (Todd), Bill Johns (Shelly), Roxanne Taylor, Julie Rosenburg (Doug), Stephanie Sludovici (Taz); 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters Camille Bourdeau (Daryl), Shirley Kidd, Yvonne Craft, Mary Margret Cooney; 5 nieces and nephews.
Debbie was preceded in death by her late spouse Richard Johns, her parents, and her brother Bill Kidd.
