2017 AZ/NM/SNV Year End Meeting
Our 2017 Year End Meeting was held in Las Cruces NM, with a record number, 16, members, and 2 security dudes in attendance. All 3 states were represented and we had a busy weekend getting to know each other better. As it usually goes, we spent time in the parking lot checking out the bikes, and swapping road stories.
Our district added several new members after the 2016 convention in Santa Fe, and this was the first time many of us were able to put names and faces together. It was rewarding to see them becoming comfortable with the ‘veteran’ district girls, and how everyone welcomed each other.
Jo Connolly organized a scavenger hunt, with motorcycle related clues, and the competetive side of these women quickly showed itself! No one seemed to care what the winners got as a prize-they just wanted to WIN!
A group dinner was shared at a local restaurant Saturday night, with great southwest cuisine. Love those chilis!
Sunday morning the ladies cranked up their bikes and headed for home. Next year-Cottonwood AZ-see you there!
