19-02-14 to 17 Winter on the Coast

All but 4 ladies started the weekend on Thursday this year and our first stop was the Sunset Grill for dinner. Twenty two of us went into Mobile on Friday for lunch and a walk around the downtown area and for Friday night we had a fun dinner and some games. Saturday was a free for all day as some stayed and relaxed at the house while others took advantage of the events going on in and around the Island. There was a Mardi Paws parade where they through dog biscuits rather than candy and later another parade in Fowl River. With a little time left before dinner some toured the Island while others went to Bellingrath Gardens for a few hours. Dinner was fun with a roulette drawing in which Belinda won. After dinner there were more games to be played and stories to be told before taking a short nap, packing up and heading home. Those attending were Judy Logan, Wendy Holder, Brenda Holloway, Teresa Brooks, Karen Johnson, Bobbie Martin, Belinda Koch, Ann Lannon, Filli Fillingim, Sue Nichols, Deb Bailey, Cathy Clark, De Frevold, Alexis Holman, PJ Thompson, Deborah Stutts and Michelle Bosarge from Alabama. Tennessee was represented by Beverly Woods and Connie Thomas and those representing Florida were Karrie Spooner, Laurie Alexander, Teddi Watson, Becky Boyd, Jan Watts, Kathy Sanders, Joanne Graff and Marianne McBride who represented Canada as well.
