17-06-10 AL Convention Luncheon
from PJ - It was a beautiful day for a ride and meeting up with my Motor Maid sisters just made it a perfect day. Three ladies from the northern end of the state, Paula Steele, Loraine Smith and Filli Fillingim, joined the southern
ladies, Verb Adams, Ginger Ross, Maria Perez and PJ Thompson, for lunch in Evergreen. We went over some convention stuff for the new ladies the went around the table with stories about how we joined the Motor Maids. For most of the ladies it was the first time meeting the Dothan area group so we spent time getting to know one another. We had so much fun and were laughing so much that the owner came over and asked where we were all from and if we had husbands. She wanted to join us but she said her husband wouldn't let her out of his sight; sad. We told her most of us were married and all our husbands ride as well.
